Upstage, Korea's top AI startup, announced today the beta release of the business version of AskUp, the company's popular AI chatbot service that has gained significant traction on the KakaoTalk channel.
AskUp is an AI chatbot service that combines Upstage's optical character recognition (OCR) technology with OpenAI's cutting-edge large language model, GPT-4. Upstage's AskUp Biz solution is designed to cater to the needs of both domestic and international companies. It comprises of three key components: AskUp Doc, which enables users to access information and read various documents using Chat AI; AskUp Web, which extracts information from websites and provides it to visitors through Chat AI; and AskUp Slack, which serves as a useful work tool on Slack.
AskUp Doc provides a user-friendly web-based search feature for internal documents and information, allowing users to quickly and easily obtain desired information through Chat AI conversations. This feature eliminates the need to manually read lengthy documents, and is capable of processing multiple documents simultaneously, while quickly finding the relevant information within them. Additionally, AskUp Doc offers a summary function that enables users to quickly review the content, while a function recommending expected questions during the conversation makes it simple to continue additional conversations with AskUp, ensuring a seamless experience.
Furthermore, AskUp Doc's 'UpOCR' technology allows users to pinpoint the exact location of the requested information within a document when making a query, ensuring the accuracy of the information source. With AskUp's ability to hold multi-turn conversations and understand context, users can obtain additional information in a natural conversation format.
AskUp Web is a solution that simplifies the integration of AskUp chatbots into a company's website or brand homepage with just a few lines of JavaScript code.
This feature offers a convenient way for customers to obtain information about a company's products and services without having to navigate through lengthy web pages. AskUp Web's Chat AI feature provides a natural question-and-answer format that displays all relevant information on the company's website, including Google search results. Additionally, OCR technology enables website information highlighting, making it easier to identify key details. Companies can easily incorporate real-time information, such as promotions and events, into the Chat AI feature, allowing for quick and easy access to the latest updates.
AskUp Slack is a powerful integration with Slack, the popular instant messaging program used by professionals worldwide. It offers a single tool for users to search, make inquiries, brainstorm, and more. With AskUp Slack, all members of a company or organization can easily access ChatGPT Pro within their Slack messengers.
