    • Business people tasked with digital transformation

Documents are at the heart of every business operation. There are emails, presentations, and reports exchanged internally, and invoices, estimates, and receipts exchanged with customers and business partners are also plentiful every day. The same goes for resident registration cards and various verification documents that must be processed when your customers use the service. These seemingly routine documents are key assets to your business.

In order for documents to serve as core assets, digitalization is essential. How much more useful would the documents be if they went beyond existing as individual documents and became a knowledge database shared by the company? Digitalization not only increases business productivity but also allows for digital transformation by converting data into information.

In this webinar, we will talk about the process of explaining, utilizing, and developing digital assets. The webinar will be split into two days. This is a time for developers/engineers to narrow the distance with AI and introduce technologies that will be helpful when creating actual services, and for business managers to increase their understanding of Document AI technology even if they do not know much about development, thereby creating a better digital transformation environment. It is divided into hours.

Day 1 (for developer) - December 14th at 8pm

  • 20:00 Planning-Development-Delivery of AI Product (feat. Personal Information Masker Development Period) - Junyeop Lee (LLM Apps team lead @Upstage)

    • How are AI products created? We introduce the product planning and technology development process based on our experience of going through the cycle from planning to development to delivery.

  • 20:30 How to develop a high-performance information extraction model - Seongrae Park (Document AI engine lead @Upstage)

    • Document AI Enterprise explains how Upstage develops models to extract key information from specific documents. We provide information extraction model development know-how from data construction, model learning and development, and model evaluation.

Day 2 (for Business) - December 19th, 2pm

  • 14:00 From documents to knowledge, digital assetization that creates data unique to our company - Eunjung Park (CSO @Upstage)

    • WE EXPLAIN WHAT DIGITAL ASSETIZATION IS, WHY IT IS NEEDED, AND WHAT BUSINESS OUTCOMES IT CAN PRODUCE. WE WILL INTRODUCE WHAT AI OCR CAN DO BETTER THAN EXISTING OCR TECHNOLOGY AND EVEN TAKE A LEAP INTO A NEW ERA BY INCORPORATING LLM, WHICH UNDERSTANDS CONTEXT WELL.

  • 14:30 Future business innovation using AI OCR: “Introduction and utilization strategies examined through actual cases” - Minsoo Cho (Document AI business development lead @Upstage)

    • WE INTRODUCE WHY NOW IS THE RIGHT TIME TO INTRODUCE AI OCR AND HOW TO IMPLEMENT IT, ALONG WITH CUSTOMER CASES. WE EXPLAIN THE MAIN POINTS TO CONSIDER WHEN PREPARING FOR ACTUAL INTRODUCTION AND PROVIDE GUIDANCE SO THAT YOU CAN QUANTITATIVELY ANALYZE THE EXPECTED EFFECTS OF AI OCR INTRODUCTION.
