(Upstage=10/10/2022) Upstage, a startup representing AI in Korea, will work with LG Uplus to hold an AI competition for the development of personalized recommendation models.

Upstage (CEO Kim Sung-hun, www.upstage.ai) announced that it will hold the LG Uplus and AI Contest "LG Uplus AI Ground" on the 10th. The application for participation in the 'LG Uplus AI Ground', which is organized by LG Uplus and hosted by Upstage, will be held from 10th to 31st.

Recruitment is open to both university and graduate students nationwide, as well as the general public. Individuals and teams (up to 3 people) can participate.

In this competition, participants develop an optimal recommended AI model using upstage AI contest platform 'AI Stages' based on LG U+'s children's country recommendation dataset for a month from November 7 to December 2. compete for skills The main task of the competition is to develop an optimal algorithm that automatically recommends personalized content tailored to users' preferences by using the content data owned by LG U+ as artificial intelligence learning data. 

U+ Kids Country is a platform that leads IPTV kids content with a cumulative number of 61 million users. U+ developed the most advanced automatic recommendation model through this competition to generate more data, improve processing efficiency, and improve search capabilities. looking forward to Upstage provides 'AI Stages' and is in charge of overall competition operation.

Participation in the contest can be applied through the application page (https://github.com/UpstageAI/2022-lguplus-AI-Ground) in the developer community Github by the 31st of this month or through the Google Form document.

Based on this technology, Upstage's Seargest (search+suggest / search recommendation) AI technology is also attracting attention.
